            Bug ID: 173548
Summary: Print formatting for page lengths under 50mm is broken
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When a Writer document's page style is set to a custom landscape size with a
short axis under roughly 45–50mm (≈141pt), printing (and print preview)
composes the page as portrait instead of landscape — content is clipped/rotated
relative to the authored page style — even though the same document exports
correctly to PDF at every size tested and every print-dialog control (Paper
size, Orientation, printer Properties) correctly reports the size as landscape.
Confirmed by bisection on one unmodified document with only the page Height
changed via Format → Page Style: 35mm, 40mm and 45mm all print portrait; 50mm
prints correctly as landscape. The bug is isolated to LibreOffice's own
print-time composition — ruled out as a CUPS/PPD issue via direct inspection of
the spooled PDF job (already wrong before reaching CUPS), and unaffected by PPD
custom-size naming conventions, the "use only paper size from printer
preferences" option, or the PDF-vs-PostScript print job format setting.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a document page style 100 mm wide and 35mm high
2.Set margins to 2mm
3.Create text within margins
4.Print and note preview is portrait with only some of the text visible. Change
alignment to landscape and note text not visible at all. You may have to set up
a custom matching page size for the printer you are using.
5. Change document to 100x50 and note it now previews and prints normally

Actual Results:
When the document page height is uder 50mm the Writer preview shows reliably
what will be printed - which is not what the user expects.
When the cocument page height is set 50mm or greater the preview is as expected
and prints as in the preview.

Expected Results:
The preview should not change rotation and offset of the document when the page
height is under 50mm

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
This bug existed in earlier versions around 2021 but disappeared for some
releases and is present again 26.2.5.2
