Regarding (2.): We should also remove the word "Insert" from "Insert OLE object". If we do that too, we would be left with just "OLE". That's super short, so we could perhaps better accommodate newbie users by calling it one of the following: * External * External App * External (OLE) * External Object * Foreign Object * via OLE * Other (OLE) or something along those lines. Regarding (3.): Maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way. After all, this is the Insert tab, so - why do we even have a "Refresh PT" and "Remove PT" buttons? They don't actually belong here! See also bug 173318. If we get rid of them, then we could just put PT and Chart together - either in a section of their own (not sure what to call it - objects which can also be separate sheets?), or unsectioned, or in the Objects section.
