--- Comment #3 from Soumya Boral <[email protected]> --- (In reply to comment #2) > Not sure if this is a bug or a feature. > > His last will will prevail e.g. would be a valid sentence. More opinions? Yes James, the example you have provided above is a valid sentence. But I think there are more instances of using double 'will' as an error than in actual sentences. Microsoft Word does point out this as error. Write your above sentence in MS Word. Let's come out of will. What about double shall shall, an an, is is, if if... the list goes on and on. In general if we type any two consecutive words same, then MS word warns us by putting a red underline under the second word. But LibreOffice does not do this in general. So I think it would be a good idea if LibreOffice points out this as a warning at least by placing a blue underline under both the words. Yes I admit that there will be instances when we want to write consecutive words same, but it is up to the user always whether to correct any error or not. Isn't it ? So I think it will be a good idea if LibreOffice warns about double words. And I have requested to put blue underline under both the words. This is because suppose we write shall shall and if the second shall is underlined only, then we will look back at the second shall only and it may happen that we don't understand what is wrong with the spelling of shall. So we may ignore the warning. However if both words are underlined, then we will understand than the underline is due to double typing. Then we can either correct or ignore it as per our requirements. And at last, yes this seems more to be a feature than a bug.
