Priority: medium
Bug ID: 68001
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FORMATTING: frame with background color "no fill" is
not transparent
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.0.4.2 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a frame that is in front of some text (wrap: "through")
2. Right-click → frame → background and set the color to "no fill"
Current behavior:
The text behind the frame does not show through, the frame's background appears
white.
Expected behavior:
If no fill color is set, it should be transparent. Currently this can only be
achieved by selecting a fill color (white) and setting the transparency to
100%, which contradicts the meaning of "no fill".
Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.0.4.2 release
