LibreOffice Writer on Windows 10/11 does not use the Italian spellcheck even
when the Italian language pack is installed and selected. English (US/UK) is
forced as fallback even if disabled in Writing Aids.
The issue persists after:
- installing the Italian language pack
- disabling EN_US and EN_UK in Writing Aids
- setting document language to Italian
- setting Windows display language to Italian
- disabling hardware acceleration
- resetting styles and default fonts
- restarting LibreOffice
Italian dictionary appears in Writing Aids but is ignored. Spellcheck only
works in English.
Expected result:
Italian spellcheck should work normally.
Actual result:
LibreOffice forces English spellcheck and ignores the Italian dictionary.
