            Bug ID: 173656
Summary: Writer: inconsistent labels “Wrap Off” and “None” for
                    the same image wrapping mode
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: Inherited From OOo
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

UI versions 3.3.0 and 26.8.0.3

In Writer, the same image wrapping mode is displayed using two different
labels:

In the Image Properties dialog, under the Wrap tab, it is labelled “Wrap Off”.
In the image context menu, under Wrap, the corresponding option is labelled
“None”.

Both options represent the same setting. Using different terminology may make
users think that they are different wrapping modes.

Steps to reproduce:

Open a document in Writer.
Insert an image.
Right-click the image and open Properties.
Select the Wrap tab and observe the “Wrap Off” option.
Close the dialog.
Right-click the image again and open the Wrap submenu.
Observe that the corresponding option is called “None”.

Actual result:

The same wrapping mode is labelled “Wrap Off” in the Image Properties dialog
and “None” in the context menu.

Expected result:

The same terminology should be used in both places. I suggest using “None” in
both, since this label is already used in the context menu and is clear within
the Wrap section.

Reproducible: Always

Additional information:

See the attached screenshot showing both labels simultaneously.
