Doing similar things for the whole document has too many degrees of freedom, on the one hand, like hyphenation, spacing, etc. and at last font size. And on the other hand such function would be very limited to "make it so all text fits on one page". My take: users who really need a function that reduces the font size until no page break exist should run a macro.
