I am not creating a labels document, but there are a number of templates shipped with the printer which have predefined document formats which fit the label roll that's in the printer. Hence I just print an ordinary text document with the ordinary print dialog. The label template is basically just for sheet labels (from avery etc.). The Brother QL-570 uses rolls which are fed through the print mechanism (heat transfer). That's quite different from the sheet labels where you have a bunch of labels next to each other. I noticed that a lot of work had been put into the print dialog, in my view too much, because there are too many settings now. Some of these settings may interfere with what the printer driver (CUPS) is doing, and then there are problems which hadn't been anticipated (it's impossible to anticipate what all printers/drivers will do). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
