Some apps, like IDEs, allow for decks/tabs on different sides of your main
window to be torn off, into floating windows / non-modal dialogs. It would be
nice if LibreOffice supported that for our sidebar decks.
Of course, the ability to tear off should be coupled with the ability to dock
within the sidebar what is currently floating
In a sense, we have something "similar" in that the Navigator (and maybe other
decks?) can exist as folowing windows, but it's not quite the same. It is up
for discussion whether such a feature should subsume the way the navigator
floats right now.
