Shad Sterling <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Shad Sterling <[email protected]> --- Per bug 172789 The documentation wiki was recently updated to indicate that DATEDIF is included for backward compatibility and to suggest alternatives to use in newer spreadsheets: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/index.php?title=Documentation%2FCalc_Functions%2FDATEDIF&diff=893170&oldid=800566 Would adding a forth parameter to DATEDIF be an improvement on suggesting the alternative functions? The list of alternative functions is currently incomplete, covering the "d", "m", and "y" intervals but not the "ym", "md", or "yd" intervals; if equivalent functions don't already exist I would prefer to add more type options to the existing alternative functions that are not implemented solely for backward compatibility than to add a non-backward-compatible mode to a function that is implemented solely for backward compatibility -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
