By way of background, the reason I was using "Go to Previous Index Entry" and "Go to Next Index Entry" directly, without going through the "Edit Index Entry" dialog window's navigation buttons, is because it is sometimes difficult to find and open index entries for editing. If the "Entry" field in an index entry is based on selected document test that has been left entirely unedited in the dialog window, the index entry mark and its gray field shading match the width of the selected text and are easy to see and target with a right click. If not, the index entry mark is a non-printing zero-width character with "thin-character" field highlighting immediately before the relevant document text. Those "thin-character" highlights can be difficult to visually spot, difficult to accurately target with right clicks, and tedious to target by cursoring to them and typing Shift+F10. Using direct "Go to Previous Index Entry" and "Go to Next Index Entry" commands takes you to the correct target right away without the need to find and open an index entry beforehand. [In this connection, note that there is currently an unresolved critical bug in the Alternative Find & Replace / AltSearch extension's "Search for: > Properties > Index mark:" function. See https://github.com/gitxpy/libreoffice-alt-search/issues/165.] At any rate, thank you again. I hope this bug gets fixed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
