All controls with units accept the input of different units but convert it to the specified value. If T>O has defined cm you can enter 1pt or 10px and get the converted value in cm (at least in theory). Sometimes these cm units make no sense and my proposal was to store/overwrite the default on each control. IOW, if you enter 1pt on the line width control it should remain 1pt.
