For example if we use 3 levels of titles, like: 1. some text <- Level 1, it's Heading 1 1.1. some text <- Level 2, it's Heading 2 1.1.1. some text <- Level 3, it's Heading 3 You can just be inside Heading 1, and press Ctrl+2 or Ctrl+3 and this Heading 1 will became Heading 2 or Heading 3.
