            Bug ID: 173820
Summary: Configuration: Text caret (insertion cursor) thickness
is ignored and stays thin under openSUSE Leap 16 (KDE
                    Plasma, X11 graphics platform)
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.5.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
There is no way to adjust the text cursor width on KDE Plasma.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set system-wide cursor width or GTK caret width to a high value (e.g., via
Qt.cursorWidth or gtk.css).
2. Open LibreOffice Writer.

Actual Results:
The text cursor remains 1-pixel thin and hard to see.
The text caret ignores gtk.css properties and ~/.Xresources Qt.cursorWidth
variables when LibreOffice renders text fields.

Expected Results:
LibreOffice should dynamically scale the edit cursor thickness according to the
underlying X11/Qt or GTK system configurations.

Reproducible: Always
