Description:
When modifying appearance settings—such as selecting a specific icon theme,
changing the application background, or customizing element colors—the UI
updates immediately as a live preview.
Note: This automatic live preview feature is very important and should be
retained, as it makes it much easier for users to try out and preview different
options without having to click "Apply" every time.
However, the problem is that clicking the "Cancel" button does not revert these
temporary preview changes, leaving them permanently applied. Furthermore,
clicking the "Reset" button fails to restore the previous configuration.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice and navigate to Tools > Options > LibreOffice > View /
Appearance (or Personalization).
2. Modify a visual setting (e.g., select a different icon theme, change
background color, or customize UI colors).
3. Observe that the interface updates automatically with a live preview.
4. Click on the "Cancel" or "Reset" button.
Actual Results:
The changes remain applied even after clicking "Cancel", and clicking "Reset"
does not restore the previous settings.
Expected Results:
The automatic live preview should be kept so users can conveniently test
options. However, clicking "Cancel" should discard all temporary preview
changes and restore the initial visual settings, and clicking "Reset" should
revert all settings back to their previous state.
