--- Comment #23 from Patrick (volunteer) <[email protected]> --- So it sounds to me like there is a second bug occurring. From your past testing, it seems that fix fixes the bug completely in recent 27.2 nightly master builds. But then the bug takes an hour or so to appear in 26.8.1 RC and occurs nearly immediately in 26.2.6. What really catches my attention is that it took an hour for the bug to reappear in 26.8.1 RC for you. My first guess is that kind of lag time is caused by a memory leak. Usually with memory leaks, after enough time LibreOffice grabs so much memory and never releases it which causes LibreOffice and maybe other applications to slow way down as macOS is constantly forced to swap what's in memory to disk to free up physical memory. My hope is that since 27.2 nightly master builds no longer have the bug, I would think that there is a fix somewhere in the post-26.8.1 RC code that fixed the memory leak. Not sure how I would find such a fix so I'll do a debug build of 26.8.1 RC and see if there are any memory leaks when dragging in a large plain text Writer document using the macOS Instruments application. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
