--- Comment #50 from MarjaE <[email protected]> ---
I have the opposite problem from MariaC.

I am stuck with the "Open Document Format ODT Filter," and

1. old .odt files still show up in search.

2. new or newly-edited .odt files don't reliably show up in filename search,
and don't show up in contents search.

3. reindexing a folder causes all .odt files in that folder to disappear from
search, even days later

4. I think new and newly-edited .odt files might show up in filename search
*until they're indexed using the wrong filter*, and then disappear from every
search.

5. I think old .odt files might continue to show up in both filename search,
and contents search, *if they were last filtered with the right filter*.

Regardless of the cause, it gets in the way of work.

At a guess, the older files in MariaC's case might have the wrong filter, and
the newer files in my case might.

In this case, how can I reinstall the right filter, which doesn't reinstalling
or updating LibreOffice reinstall the right filter, and how can I keep Windows
from reinstalling the wrong filter over it? In this case, a separate search
filter downloader and installer, and/or an update to the Windows installer to
make search filter reinstallation easier, might help with this bug.
