            Bug ID: 173874
Summary: The "English (United States)" language is missing in
                    the installer
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Installation
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When trying to install on a new Windows installation the "English (United
States)" language is missing in the "User interface languages" list in the
"Custom" setup type, and I can't proceed with the installation because the
installer complains I did not select any language.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run the installer.
2. Choose the "Custom" setup type.
3. Expand the "User interface languages" list.

Actual Results:
The "English (United States)" entry is missing.

Expected Results:
The "English (United States)" entry is not missing.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The installer also starts in the wrong language: Windows is configured with the
English language Italian locale (number and dates), the installer initially
starts in English (correct) than decides to switch on its own to Italian
(wrong). This can be manually worked around by starting the installer with the
command prompt command "msiexec.exe /i LibreOffice_26.8.0_Win_x86-64.msi
ProductLanguage=1033".

The languages list shows only "English (South Africa)" and "English (United
Kingdom)" for the English language family.

This is a fresh Windows install, there is no existing UserProfile.
