Based on two things: 1. Plain reading: This is the _crop_ function. "Keep Image Size" means not cropping, but stretching part of the image to cover all of it. It is a different operation, even if it can be achieved by crop + resize. 2. The same basis most members of the design team base all of our estimates: Personal experience, experiences of colleagues, knowledge of what some other office suites and relevant applications offer, common sense regarding workflows. > The bugtracker holds several discussions about the option _None_ of them has a single person saying this is a useful feature. * Bug 45884: Does not regard cropping at all. * Bug 64812: User wants to "Keep scale", and "keep image size" happens despite their wishes. * Bug 143037: Does not regard "Keep Image Size". * Bug 164734 UI: Says the label is confusing - as "keep size" contradicts "crop". Which only goes to support my objection to this. * Bug 173693: User says they need to _adjust_ sizes, not keep the original sizes.
