To see this bug, create a new simple two-sheet ods.
Place a number in Sheet1 E25 (say 100 - the choice of cell E25 is arbitrary).
Let Sheet2 E25 depend on (say equal) Sheet1 E25.
Let Sheet2 E31 also depend on (equal) Sheet1 E25.
If you click on Sheet2 E31 (not E25) to display/edit the trivial formula and
then look at Sheet1, you will see Sheet1 E25 highlighted correctly and the
number (100) is readable.
BUT, if you click on Sheet2 E25 to display/edit the formula and look Sheet1 E25
you will see that now Sheet1 E25 is imperfectly highlighted and, worse, its
entry value is blanked/hidden/obscured.
This small but important issue arose a couple of versions back (and I think
less than a year ago). It's important for truly important spreadsheets!
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a simple new two-sheet ods.
2. Place a number in Sheet1 E25 (say 100 - the choice of cell E25 is
arbitrary).
3. Let Sheet2 E25 depend on (say equal) Sheet1 E25.
4. Let Sheet2 E31 also depend on (equal) Sheet1 E25.
5. If you click on Sheet2 E31 (not E25) to display/edit the trivial formula and
then look at Sheet1, you will see Sheet1 E25 highlighted correctly and the
number (100) is readable.
6. BUT, if you click on Sheet2 E25 to display/edit the formula and look Sheet1
E25 you will see that now Sheet1 E25 is imperfectly highlighted and, worse, its
