I use MS PowerPoint a lot for work and have trying to transition to Impress but
there are some nasty usability issues with impress the two bigs ones are:
1) the vertical scroll bar should move between slides not scroll up/down. that
very frustrating for people that do lots of slides because I have constantly
recenter the slides
2) when I press New Slide it should popup a dialog box of the visual
representation of the slides types so I can pick the one I want. another
option like how PPT does is there is a down arrow for "new slide" that let's me
visually pix the layout. but creating a deck with multiple different slide
layout is far more painful in impress that it should be.
3) the format slide button should have a fourth item for changing the slide
layout
