--- Comment #7 from [email protected] --- I can confirm this issue also occurs with the non-breaking space character (U+00A0) in filenames. Environment: LibreOffice 26.8.1.1 OS: Linux (Arch-based) File type: .docx Reproduction: Filename begins with U+00A0 (non-breaking space, UTF-8 bytes c2 a0), e.g.: \xc2\xa0Test.docx Result: The operation on /path/to/\xc2\xa0Test.docx was started with an invalid parameter. The NBSP is a valid Unicode character and perfectly legal in filenames on Linux (ext4/btrfs). LibreOffice's path validation appears to reject it as an invalid parameter, likely because it's categorized as a whitespace character but not handled in the path parser's allowlist. This may be the same root cause as the å/ä/ö issue - the path validation is too restrictive for valid Unicode characters in filenames. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
