            Bug ID: 173927
Summary: Adding a background image and changing transparency,
settings dont hold when you reopen file.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.0.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I noticed a critical issue for a powerpoint assingment, that im very glad I
caught. If you set a background image and then change its transparency (i had
it at 80%). Even if you save, when you reopen the file the background image
reverts back to original transparency. This would have made my powerpoint
unreadable.

The workout around I did was use GIMP to permanently change the transparency of
the image so it would survive the save process.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Right click hit slide properties
2.Click image, add image
3.Click transparency (on left) - change transparency to 80% (is what i used)
4.Save file
5.Open file

Actual Results:
the image returns to original transparency

Expected Results:
maintain the saved transparency as that is what a slide show design would be
based on. If it changes randomly like this it can greatly affect a
presentation. In my case making it unreadable.

Reproducible: Always
