Description:
The splash screen appears very late and only briefly before the document window
opens.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find an ods or odt (or other od?) file in a file manager.
2. Double-click the od file icon to open the file with libreoffice.
Actual Results:
About 8 seconds pass with nothing happening. I am left to wonder if I correctly
double-clicked on the file icon. Then the splash screen appears for less than a
second, then the libreoffice document window immediately appears.
Expected Results:
The splash screen should appear very quickly, preferably within one second.
Then it should go a way just before the libreoffice document window opens.
