V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blocks| |157526 CC| |[email protected], | |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- But that seems to be correct os/DE behavior and not an LO issue. When you specify the exact font (or a LibreOffice font replacement) you get the expected glyph. It would only be a LO issue if we in fact made some attempt to control which emoji to use (ie some toggle of FE0E or FE0F presentation selector); or maybe if we were to laydown a font ref during installation to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontLink\SystemLink perhaps 'seguiemj.ttf' for "Liberation Sans" to extend it to use the colorized Segoe UI Emoji in sCalc, and 'seguisym.ttf' for "Liberation Serif" to extend it to use the b/w Segoe UI Symbol in Writer. But we do neither (not sure we could). And the actual fallback is simply handled by os/DE, and we can't control to os configurations or font order as recorded to registry.
