Sheet > Named Ranges and Expressions > Define: name MY_FACTORIAL, expression =LAMBDA(n;IF(n>1;n*MY_FACTORIAL(n-1);1)), Add. 2. Sheet > Named Ranges and Expressions > Manage showed LAMBDA(N,IF(N>1,N*my_factorial(N-1),1)) (the lower-casing from bug 173904). I corrected it to MY_FACTORIAL and pressed OK. 3. B1: =MY_FACTORIAL(5) -> Err:514; the status bar shows "Internal overflow". =MY_FACTORIAL(1) and =MY_FACTORIAL(2) also return Err:514, although n=1 should not need any recursion. Side note: in the same document a non-recursive named expression SQ_TEST = LAMBDA(x;x*x) returned Err:511 for =SQ_TEST(4), so I could not establish a working non-recursive baseline. I have not investigated that further. The test document is attached above (dev-27.2-173905.ods).
