test case
Starting with Orca v52, browse mode will include an option for the caret
navigator to also control text selection. It prefers the document interface
first, which is not implemented in Writer. See bug #173971. It falls back on
the text interface.
AtkText has add_selection() and set_selection():
* https://docs.gtk.org/atk/method.Text.add_selection.html
* https://docs.gtk.org/atk/method.Text.set_selection.html
The former is for when the accessible object lacks a selection; the latter is
for updating an existing one.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open simple.odt (attached)
2. Launch the to-be-attached python reproducer in a terminal
Expected results: All three paragraphs would remain selected.
Actual results: Every time the reproducer uses add_selection() on one object,
the selection on the previous object is automatically cleared.
Impact: Orca users will not be able to use Orca's caret navigator to select
text in browse mode. (Native selection can still be used, but only if the Orca
selection feature is disabled.)
