--- Comment #9 from Robert Großkopf <[email protected]> ---
Problem is still the same:
Opening an embedded Firebird Base file, which has been used with any LO
installation provided by Linux distribution is impossible in Windows.
Opening such a file with original packages of LO, not the packages of Linux
distribution, under the same Linux system is impossible.

(Database for electronical invoices inside this *.zip)

What's so difficult to get the same behavior which is already there for
internal HSQLDB: A very old database engine, but packed the right way in every
Linux version without any problem. Firebird should also been included the same
way - not connected to the Firebird server of the Linux system. It will work
well with packages of LO directly, but won't work with packages provided by
every Linux distribution.

This couldn't be a discussion like "Why don't LibreOffice update Firebird?".
The Firebird version of LO should be independent so it will work on Windows,
Linux, Mac and everybody could create such a Base file system independent.
