Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever confirmed|1 |0 Status|RESOLVED |UNCONFIRMED Resolution|INSUFFICIENTDATA |--- --- Comment #11 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- Use cases: 1. Producing a document which is intended as a section of a larger document (which itself is not edited by us, or is not in LibreOffice etc.) 2. Working with zero-based sequences 3. The use-case Heiko mentioned: You're printing invoices or labels. Your first receipt is not #1, it's the next number after the last one in your previous batch of invoices / labels. And even the first one may well be something like 10000 (actually common in many new businesses, so that the receipt number never has less than a certain number of digits, making it easy to tell apart from various indices and amounts). There is also the fact that it is the equivalent of the "start at" field for numbered lists. So, any use-case for a numbered list starting at something other than 1 is, more or less, another use case for this feature. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
