Available paper sizes for HP Laser 107w
Some printer drivers support the paper sizes "A5" as well as "A5 LEF" (long
edge feeding). It's the same paper, but when set to "A5 LEF", its fed with the
long edge.
LibreOffice for Linux fails to print on A5 LEF.
- OS: Fedora KDE Plasma Desktop 44
- Printer: HP Laser 107w
- Printer driver: uld-hp_V1.00.39.12_00.15
How to reproduce (I tried Calc and Writer, same result):
- Go to 'File' / 'Printer Settings...' / 'Properties...'
- Select Paper size 'A5 LEF', click 'OK'
- Click 'Properties...' again, see error: Paper size has switched to 'A5'
(without 'LEF')
Every other available paper size is applied correctly.
A5 LEF printing works fine with other applications on the same system, e. g.
Okular.
It also worked fine with LibreOffice on Windows (same printer).
