Bug ID: 174088
Summary: Function menu text stops updating on rewind
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.8.1.1 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
If you delete a large portion of text in function menu and start rewinding it
by holding CTRL+Z or similar shortcut, it will keep updating on the sheet, but
not in function menu. Text is not hidden, it is missing.
I also noticed that if you select full sheet text when this happens, it will
save full sheet text.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write a long string of text.
2. Edit it in function menu by key-deleting a large portion of it, so that each
deleted character will count as its own update.
3. Hold CTRL+Z or whatever shortcut for reversing delete you have.
Actual Results:
Text stops updating in menu, but not on the sheet.
Expected Results:
Both texts keep updating.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
