--- Comment #6 from [email protected] --- I can get the disabled OK button with the values from the screenshot (attachment 208130). There, Input range is '2026'.P2 and Output range is '2026'.B2:M2, so the two ranges are swapped: the 12 data cells are in Output and the single target cell is in Input. Steps (26.8.1.1, Windows): 1. Sheet named 2026, numbers in B2:M2. 2. Select P2, Insert > Sparkline: Input range is filled with the selection, '2026'.P2. 3. Type '2026'.B2:M2 into Output range: OK becomes disabled. Changing Input to '2026'.Q12 keeps it disabled (as in comment 2). 4. Input '2026'.B2:M2 and Output '2026'.P2: OK is enabled and the sparkline is created in P2. So the check itself works, but the dialog is easy to fill in the wrong way round: the current selection goes into Input range (Excel puts the selection into the location range), and nothing says why OK is disabled. The check (SparklineDialog::checkValidInputOutput) is the same in libreoffice-7-4 and master. Side note: with Output range left empty, OK is enabled when the dialog opens, and clicking OK put the sparkline into A1 of the first sheet, not the current sheet. maOutputRange is default-constructed (A1 on tab 0) and is accepted as valid. This may deserve its own report.
