--- Comment #26 from [email protected] <[email protected]> --- The jerky scrolling still persists for me on two machines (one on Win10, the second on Linux). BEHAVIOR ON BOTH: I commonly select text with the left mouse button held down. The problem occurs when scrolling onto an additional page. (1) Scrolling is sometimes smooth to the top or bottom of the first page, but sometimes jerky even there. (2) There is a pronounced hesitation when continuing to the the page above (or below). (3) As scrolling continues onto that next page, it scolling is very jerky both initially and throughout as far as I want to scroll. (4) Jerks do not happen at a uniform rate or speed. Usually is by paragraph and by heading, but sometimes half a paragraph or a jump to suddenly progressing through most of a page (even across multiple paragraphs). This non-uniformity makes dealing with the jerkiness even worse. MACHINE #1: ThinkPad E560, Win 10, Writer 26.8.1.1, Intel graphics. Machine #2: ThinkPad P52, Fedora 44 with Plasma and Wayland, Writer 26.2.6.3 (since Fedora will not provide 26.8 until Fedora 45 is released). Intel graphics and Nvidia Quadro Pro 2000 GPU. The behavior is identical on both machines. I have tried all the potential solutions I can find online. No problem at all with any other programs, for both machines. EXTENT OF PROBLEM: I rate it as severe. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
