The introduction to chapter 17 “User Interface Variants” contains the following
paragraph:
> The Tabbed interface can be customized using the Notebookbar tab of the Tools

25.8 outdated the last sentence, since the option moved from View to
Appearance.
This might have been fixed already, but I have no access to the guides under
development. This probably affects other guides, but they don't treat UI modes
the same way. (Perhaps all of this should be moved to the Getting Started
Guide.)
By the way, there is no explanation of what “Notebookbar” means, and UI
variants are now called “UI *modes*”.
