A group, a line and a control rectangle, each with descr and title
The PPTX import reads the alternative text of p:cNvPr (descr, and title) for
ordinary shapes and pictures, but not for a group (p:grpSp/p:nvGrpSpPr/p:cNvPr)
or a line/connector (p:cxnSp/p:nvCxnSpPr/p:cNvPr). The imported group and line
have an empty Description and Title. PowerPoint's Alt Text pane sets both for
groups and lines.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached group-connector-descr.pptx. It has a group of two
rectangles, a line and a control rectangle, each with descr ("Alt text on the
group", "Alt text on the line", "Alt text on the rectangle (control)") and
title ("Title on the group", ...).
2. Select the group, then the line: right-click > Description.
3. Optionally File > Export as PDF, with "Universal Accessibility (PDF/UA)"
checked, and look at the structure tree.
Actual: the group and the line have an empty Title and Description; the control
rectangle has both. In the PDF the group and the line are /Figure without /Alt
(veraPDF PDF/UA-1 rule 7.3-1 fails twice), the rectangle has /Alt.
Expected: the group and the line get Description = descr and Title = title, as
other shapes do. In ECMA-376 Part 1 cNvPr (Non-Visual Drawing Properties) is
the same element for every shape type, and descr is its alternative text.
PDF/UA-1 (ISO 14289-1) 7.3: figures shall have alternative text.
The export has the same gap: a Description or Title set in Impress on a group
or a line is not written to PPTX.
In oox, ShapeContext reads descr and title (setDescription, setTitle), but
PPTShapeGroupContext, ShapeGroupContext (the DrawingML group) and
ConnectorShapePropertiesContext read only id and name; on export
ShapeExport::WriteGroupShape and WriteConnectorShape write only id, name and
hidden.
The attached group-connector-descr-26.8.pdf is the output of 26.8.0.3.
Reproduced on 26.8.0.3, macOS.
