            Bug ID: 174171
           Summary: Customize Bulleting Broke
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.1.1 release
          Hardware: ARM
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Bulleeting in impress is basically broken
1) configuing a set of bullets for a slides does not work reliably when using
customize
2) the "apply to master" setting does not work
3) going back into customize looses the settings
4) they do persist through apps restarts

basically customize bulleting is broken quite frankly has been for years

Steps to Reproduce:
configure bullet customize settings simply doesn't work even if I say apply to
master it does not do it.

Actual Results:
customized bullet lists do not work

Expected Results:
1) When a user creates a Customized bullet configure it should show in the list
of bullets configurations and name should be required to be provided
2) when a user clicks on a bullet item and presses the bullet list icon the one
that is active should be highlighted
3) customized bullet lists should persist through reboots
4) if user clicks in bullet list and goes to bullet icon the one being used
should be highlighted
5) "Apply to Master" does not work and does not persist to app restarts. just
get rid of it and use named bullet configurations to avoid the whole problem
6) if a user does a CTRL-A and selects a bulleted list it MUST preserve ident
levels. it does NOT reliably to do this today

basically customized bullet lists DO NOT WORK AT ALL.

this also applies or ordered lists

it is painful to create bulleted slides in Impress. it makes using MS
PowerPoint pleasant.
