Bug ID: 174180
Summary: Nested LET produce #NAME?
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.8.1.1 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Nesting a LET inside another LET produces an error. Simple examples that lead
to a #NAME? error are:
=LET(x;10;LET(y;20;x+y)), which should evaluate to 30, or...
=LET(x;10;LET(y;2*x;y+5)), which should evaluate to 25.
This behaviour remains regardless of the use of a classic function or an array
function.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new workbook
2. Enter "=LET(x;10;LET(y;20;x+y))" in any cell
3. Enter "=LET(x;10;LET(y;2*x;y+5))" in any other cell
Actual Results:
2. #NAME?
3. #NAME?
Expected Results:
2. 30
3. 25
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Allow nested LET functions to be used in a working manner.
