            Bug ID: 174197
Summary: Stale autofill/drag overlay (magenta frame + value
tooltip) remains after macro moves cell cursor on
content change triggered by mouse selection in
                    validity dropdown
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.6.3 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Steps to reproduce:

Open attached test.ods (macros enabled).
Open the validity dropdown in A1 with the mouse and click an entry.
The sheet event “Content changed” runs a macro that moves the cell cursor to H1
via .uno:GoToCell.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open attached test.ods (macros enabled).
2.Open the validity dropdown in A1 with the mouse and click an entry.
3.The sheet event “Content changed” runs a macro that moves the cell cursor to
H1 via .uno:GoToCell.

Actual Results:
A magenta frame from the new cursor position towards the mouse position
appears, together with a tooltip showing a fill-series value (e.g. value minus
number of cells), as if an autofill drag were in progress. The frame stays
visible permanently; Esc, scrolling, zooming and switching sheets do not remove
it. Only closing the document removes it.

Expected Results:
No overlay; cursor simply moves to H1.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Does not occur when the dropdown entry is chosen with the keyboard (Alt+Down,
Enter). Also occurs with forced Skia software rendering. Same behaviour when
the cursor is moved via XSelectionSupplier.select() instead of .uno:GoToCell.

Version: 26.2.6.3 (X86_64), Windows
