The crash is caused by tdf#139269. It added a check to prevent pasting text into read only areas of master views. That check asks the view for the current page via GetSdrPageView(), but the notes panel has no page view. Only the paste special dialog (Ctrl+Shift+V -> Unformatted text) goes through this code path. Right-click -> Paste Special -> Unformatted text in the notes panel inserts the text directly, which explains why that one does not crash. This is already fixed on master by https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/4a419fa33c1b18b7ca711a3f7307ea9a26996711 (tdf#173370 - Avoid unchecked GetSdrPageView()), which takes the page from the edited text object instead. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
