            Bug ID: 174230
Summary: Changing the Anchor for an image makes it move.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
An image placed into a document should not move when the anchor is changed.
Changing the anchor from character to paragraph leaves the image where it has
been placed. Changing the anchor to the page however causes the image to move.
The image should not move.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Place an image in an ODT file.
2.Change the anchor to page
3.Observe the position of the image.

Actual Results:
The image could now jump to anywhere on the page although usually it goes to
the top of the page.

Expected Results:
The image should stay where is has been placed. The properties of the image for
position should now be provided for the image's position within the page. The
use of properties makes it very easy to line up the tops of the images by using
identical position from top. Eyeballing the image back into place is difficult.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I always adjust the anchor to paragraph as a character anchor moves the image
with minor edits.
