Alex Thurgood <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #3 from Alex Thurgood <[email protected]> --- Tested on : Version: 26.8.1.1 (AARCH64) Build ID: bf6ef2662401c7d6dce671ab4deb26ee0af3a7c1 CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 27.2; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded with Bogdan's test file (for which the paragraph holding the date field control is indicated as lang en-US, but this makes no difference to the display, even when I switched to lang fr-FR). 1) When I open the ODT document, I see 30 octobre 2026 as the date (today's date, as of my testing) 2) Using the Calendar widget that appears when clicking on the field, set the date to tomorrow's date 31/10/2026, i.e. DD/MM/YYYY. This is obviously wrong compared to the initial display. 3) If I choose another date from the Calendar widget, I then get the following display: YYYY-MM-DD, i.e. the ISO 8601 date format which is also the wrong display compared to the initially displayed date. With regard to the latter, I recall there having been some work done recently-ish that made date formats ISO 8601 by default in some date fields, but don't remember where that was exactly (it should be in the git commit logs somewhere). That being said, not sure why the first change using the widget would display US style. Confirming. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
