Firebird database for executing SQL code
Open the attached database for Firebird.
Open Tools → SQL.
Note: «Show output of "select" statements» will be checked by default.
Execute the following SQL-Code, which should set the AutoValue for ID:
ALTER TABLE "tbl_Rechnung" ALTER "ID" RESTART WITH 10;
Error appears:
1: firebird_sdbc error:
*SQL error code = -504
*Invalid cursor reference
*Cursor is not open
caused by
'isc_dsql_fetch'
The command had been executed (ID is set, next ID will be 11) and Firebird
tries to show the result but fails: There is no select statement at all.
Do the same with the second attached database for HSQLDB.
No error would appear, 0 rows in the result.
There shouldn't appear any error. If there couldn't be expected any result it
should show 0 rows in result also in Firebird.
