          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 68491
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FILESAVE: intermittent crash on file save
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.0.4.2 release
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:
I usually save my work every few minutes when working on a document. Writer
crashed every third or so time that I saved a file. The file was not
especially large, <1MB and only about 10 pages. The only things that I can
think of that might be special about it were: (a) there was a small embedded
picture in the file (b) I was saving it on a truecrypt volume.
However I have saved many files using writer on tc volumes with no problem, so
I would sooner suspect the small embedded image.

The crash did not occur every time I saved, only approx every third time, but
not exactly every third time (it varied). Then Writer would recover the file,
which thankfully it did successfully every time, and I could continue.
Unfortunately I cannot include the file - it's confidential.

Steps to reproduce:
1. save file ~3x
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:
Writer crashes and then recovers file

Expected behavior:
no crash!

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.0.4.2 release
