Priority: medium
Bug ID: 68668
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: PRINTING: Images larger than header/footer get
transformed on mail merge print operation
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.0.4 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
In a mail merge document, an image which extends beyond the header or footer
boundaries will be squashed to fit within the boundaries when printing and
agreeing to the "form letter" question.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a document with a merged field from a database;
2. Insert an image which is larger than the header and or footer boundaries
(more noticeable with significantly more extended images);
3. Print, and select "yes" when asked "Do you want to print a form letter?";
Current behavior:
The extending images are scaled un-proportionally to fit within the boundaries
of the header or footer (respective of their locations) in the print output.
Expected behavior:
No transformation should occur - this is the behavior (no image transformation)
when the same document is printed without selecting "yes" to "Do you want to
print a form letter?" as well as when the document is merged using the mail
merge wizard first and then printed.
Operating System: Mac OS X
Version: 4.1.0.4 release
