--- Comment #5 from Wolf Schmoger <[email protected]> --- Hi Terry, at first, I'm not english speaker but i'll try give same illustration. I worked with a german localised version and i think there are confusions about german and english definition/my retranslation. In version 3.3 the "ABFRAGE/?QUERY" with sorted order works and a "Bericht/report" is a nicely decoreted text-file also sorted. After an update to version 4.x.x the report isn't sorted and when i try to build a neu report from the old "ABFRAGE/?QUERY" sbase crashed. I downgrade to version 3.6.6.. I can't edit my old report and the report isn't open. Error-message below. In this version i saw last trying the report builder has new format editing with an own sort function. Sometime it's hard search to find german translated help about the own (new) toppic of interest or tryout new function by "trail and error". In next time i'll work with the version 3.6.6. I haven't made some screenshots and i trow there are no numbered error-messages. Sorry, i haven't updated to time to try your workaround, in LO-3.6.6 it works ok, but i think the error will be in any event in the changes from old report to new report-builder. Can i install two version of LO parallel to try out? i'll hope my coments are understandable to somebody Wolf System Windows 7-64bit (AMD) i7 4+4 ____________________________________ Die Abfrage mit dem Ausdruck " konnte nicht geöffnet werden.
