The file where you delete newlines, but upon opening see them again!!
Hello,
There is a file that I save as a Word 2003 .doc file - to be compatible with
other peoples' software.
I take great care to remove unnecessary newline (unnecessary paragraphs), but
when I open the .doc document again after saving - it has not saved all edits.
Therefore the file now is not 4 pages but 8 ugly pages long. I am embarrassed I
have sent this to people, relying that edits would be saved.
Extremely annoying that such a very basic thing could not be done - to save the
paragraphs as I intended.
I no not need to remove all blank paragraphs, by the way. Just like in this
text submission form, there are cases when you want to create space between
paragraphs with newline, not by formatting paragraph spacing.
Perhaps it has something to do that there are some comments in the file,
however I need to make comments to collaborate with people.
I would appreciate knowing whether this is something that can be fixed. I want
to use LibreOffice, but I must be able to cooperate with users of windows and
Ms Office.
Sincerely,
Roberts Klotins
