This particular file, even when saved as an odp does not seem to experience a faster startup. 2- Yes, and the presentations used to open much quicker. I noticed this slow performance as of 4.1.1 - but I thought it was a one off occurence that wouldn't show up again. I very much suspect that this is indeed a linux or even a fedora only anomaly. If I may request, can you please try to open this inside a fedora vm in something like Virtualbox, in order to reproduce the conditions as closely as possible.
