--- Comment #9 from Owen Genat <[email protected]> --- I am unable to reproduce the described performance issue with the provided example document under Crunchbang Linux 11 running LO v4.1.2.2 Build: 281b75f427729060b6446ddb3777b32f957a8fb. The system stats are: oweng:~$ grep -m 1 -e "model name" /proc/cpuinfo model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz oweng:~$ grep -e MemTotal /proc/meminfo MemTotal: 8132564 kB oweng:~$ lspci | grep VGA 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Madison [Radeon HD 5000M Series] oweng:~$ apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-video-radeon | grep Installed Installed: 1:6.14.4-8 oweng:~$ uname -r 3.2.0-4-amd64 Scrolling up and down or sideways shows the Xorg process consuming ~5% of CPU and the soffice process consuming ~2.5% of CPU. The scrolling is /slightly/ jerky, with the scroll bar skipping a bit, but nothing unexpected in my opinion and certainly quite usable. The lagging behaviour originally described does not occur at all. Perhaps the issue is KDE/Qt-related? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
