The reason I ask: C:\Windows\Installer is a sort of a cache directory for installation related files. Installers leave things there which might be needed later, say for uninstall or upgrade. Your workaround hints at the cause. If you regularly use CCleaner with aggressive settings and it wipes out the contents of C:\Windows\Installer, then more than just LibreOffice may have trouble uninstalling. When you do an upgrade install of LibreOffice, the installer first invokes the uninstaller from the previous version. It expects the uninstaller is available in that location. The file should be there unless you've removed it. The file likely won't have the same name, but you can use size to try to identify and you can confirm by going to file properties and looking at details tab. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
