In Internet Explorer I cannot find any add-on:
Tools - Options - programs - manage add-ons no add-on libre office is
there.


LibreOffice - Tools - Browser Plug-in - display documents in browser is
unchecked by default.


Which gpo is is that you mean?
Can you also give it a try with Internet Explorer 8 and 9?
